Maximum deduction caps for financial institutions

On 28 December 2018, Regulatory Decree No.13/2018 (the Regulatory Decree) establishing the maximum caps for deductions of impairment losses and other value adjustments for specific credit risks of financial institutions, as well as the rules to compute them, was gazetted.
The Regulatory Decree entered into force on 29 December 2018 and applies to tax years commencing on or after 1 January 2018.
