Jorge Faria Lopes
At SÉRVULO since 2023, Jorge Faria Lopes is an Of Counsel in the Public Law department. He has a Ph.D. in Law from the Faculty of Law of the Portuguese Catholic University, in 2023, with a thesis entitled "The relevance of the principle of efficiency in the planning and preparation phase of the procedure for the formation of public contracts". Jorge Faria Lopes holds a Master's Degree in Administrative Law and Public Procurement, in 2011, Postgraduate Degree in Legal Sciences, in 2007, and Degree in Law, in 2005, from the Faculty of Law of the Portuguese Catholic University. He was a visiting researcher at the University of Nottingham, School of Law, Public Procurement Research Group, in 2018. Collaborator at the Observatory of Public-Private Partnerships in Portugal, Católica Lisbon School of Business and Economics, in an interdisciplinary study on the legal relevance of the public sector comparator in public-private partnerships, in 2010. Author of several publications in his area of specialty. Speaker and trainer at conferences and courses on public procurement law. He joined the Bar Association since 2008.
