João Lamy da Fontoura

At SÉRVULO since 2024, João Lamy da Fontoura is a consultant in the Public Law department. He completed the University Extension Course in Arbitration at the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon in 2015, where he also completed the curricular phase of his PhD in 2008. He has a postgraduate degree in Pharmacy and Medicines Law from the Faculty of Law of the University of Coimbra since 2006 and a postgraduate degree in Administrative Litigation Law from the Faculty of Law of the Portuguese Catholic University. He graduated in Law from the University of Lisbon Law School in 2002. He practised law as an associate at the law firms PLMJ between 2019 and 2024, SRS Legal between 2018 and 2019 and Linklaters between 2013 and 2018. He has been on the list of arbitrators at the Administrative Arbitration Centre since 2015. He first joined SÉRVULO as an associate between 2008 and 2013. Before that he was a consultant to the Directorate-General for Justice Policy (Ministry of Justice) between 2007 and 2008, having started his career at Vieira de Almeida law firm between 2002 and 2007. He is the author of several publications on public law and public procurement. He joined the Bar Association in 2005.
