Maria Novo Baptista
AtSÉRVULO since 2018, Maria Novo Baptista is an associate in Litigation & Arbitration and Sports Law departments, where she joined as a trainee lawyer. She holds a postgraduate degree in Arbitration from Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon (2023) and a degree in Law from the same Faculty (2018). In 2023 she concluded a two-month Secondment at law firm Bird&Bird (London office), in the Dispute Resolution Team. She joined the Bar Association in 2021.

Assisting in civil and commercial litigation cases before judicial and arbitration courts, namely in contractual and non-contractual liability cases, as well as on insolvency and companies restructuring procedures.
Assisting in litigation cases of sports nature judicial and arbitration courts, namely regarding the termination of professional sports employment contracts.
Assistance on the transfer of players and on the negotiation of sports employment contracts, training contracts and representation and career management agreements.
Legal advice in matters related to the conclusion and execution of civil and commercial contracts.
