Sérvulo's Digital Economy Service organises seminar on online payments
NEWS AND EVENTS 31 May 2016
The seminar Pagamentos, Proteção de Dados e Impostos: um novo paradigma para a atividade bancária? (Payments, Data Protection and Taxes: a new paradigm for the banking sector?) takes place on May 31 from 9:00 to 11:30. A SÉRVULO initiative, the event is part of the firm's integrated legal service for the Digital Economy.
The seminar will be introduced by SÉRVULO Managing Partner Paulo Câmara, and will be followed by interventions by Miguel Gorjão-Henriques, Francisco Mendes Correia and Teresa Pala Schwalbach. In an integrated way, these interventions will, respectively, deal with the regulatory context and the legislative changes concerning online payments, data protection and tax in the banking sector, one which is going through an intense transformation period in what concerns the digital economy.
Regarding the event, SÉRVULO Managing Partner Paulo Câmara commented that: “The accelerated evolution of online payment legislation cannot be disassociated from the recent advances that have occurred in the areas of tax and personal data protection: this seminar's underlying proposal is exactly to analyse these three areas in an integrated way".
The event is aimed at representatives of the banking sector and of other financial institutions. Booking is required.
