Sérvulo reinforces the Financial and Capital Markets area

André Figueiredo’s joining Paulo Câmara’s team reinforces the response capacity of the the Financial Law, Capital Markets and Banking Law pratice area at SÉRVULO.
“The Financial area is one of the strategic bets made by the firm and, despite the actual moment that the market finds itself in, we have assisted to a significant growth in the volume of business for which an answer has to be found”, commented Paulo Câmara, the  in charge partner of the referred area.
Specialized in Banking and Financial law, André Figueiredo's professional experience  has allowed him to acquire a vast experience in the area of capital markets, particularly in debt emissions and structured finance. Holder of a L.L.M. in the Corporate Governance from New York University (NYU), he is presently concluding a doctorate thesis in Securities Markets at Universidade Nova de Lisboa. He is also the author of several articles on the subject and frequently participates as a speaker in conferences and graduate courses in the areas of Corporate and Securities Market Law.
The area ofFinancial Law, Capital Markets and Banking Law at SÉRVULO, despite its transversality, is especially oriented towards the areas of securities sarket, equity finance and corporate governance and in reinforces, with André Figueiredopresence, its competences in the ambit of debt emission, securitization and structured finance.
