Sérvulo formalises commitment to gender equality
NEWS AND EVENTS 26 Jan 2016
On January 26, SÉRVULO and another nine companies make official, in a public ceremony, their adherence to the Business Forum for Equality (Fórum de Empresas para a Igualdade), which is an initiative promoted by the Commission for Equality in Employment and in the Workplace (CITE - Comissão para a Igualdade no Trabalho e no Emprego). The Forum brings together companies and other organisations that publicly assume the importance of gender equality, undersigning a formal commitment in terms of adopting concrete measures to advance this matter. This effort has already resulted in a collection of best practices which, since 2013, have been shared amongst the organizations of the network, 18 of which will renew their commitment at the same ceremony. Present at the latter will be the Secretary of State for Citizenship and Equality, Catarina Marcelino, and the Secretary of State for Employment, Miguel Cabrita. SÉRVULO will be represented by Paulo Câmara and Maria da Luz Correia, respectively Managing Partner and General Manager of the firm, as well as by Magda Sousa Gomes and Rita Canas da Silva, associates of the Employment law department.
