Sérvulo Correia awarded with the Grand Cross of the Order of Public Instruction

Sérvulo Correia was awarded with the Grand Cross of the Order of Public Instruction, the highest honorary title of the Public Instruction.
During the ceremony, the President of the Republic, Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa highlighted the academic and civic solidarity, mentioning, for example, the important defense of Timor-Leste's interests at the invitation of the Portuguese Government.
The President aldo mentioned Sérvulo Correia as one of the founders os the European family of Public Law Professors, for his close connection to the European Public Law Group.
As a founding partner of SÉRVULO, he has expensive experience as a lawyer and jurist in matters of administrative law, regulation and public contracting. Sérvulo Correia acts regulary as an arbitrator in matters of Public Law and Commercial Law and has been a member of the panel of arbitrators of the Permanent Court of Arbitration (The Hague) since 2005. Sérvulo Correia is also a Honorary Professor at the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon and founding member of the European Public Law Group. Receiving in 2015 an Honorary Doctorate in Law from the University of Athens. Sérvulo Correia is also a member of the Board of Trustees of the European Law and Governance School.
