SÉRVULO marks new partnership in the Azores with Conference on the Law of the Sea and Urban Simplex

The Azores Conference: Reflections on the Law of the Sea and Urban Simplex took place yesterday, May 16, in Ponta Delgada. This initiative, co-organized by BLPD & Associados, Norma Açores and SÉRVULO, gathered an audience of institutional representatives, businesspeople and lawyers to the Teatro Micaelense where the conference took place. The Regional Secretary for the Sea and Fisheries, Mário Pinho, attended the opening ceremony of the event while the President of the Regional Assembly, Luís Garcia, atended the closing.
In the toast that marked the end of the conference and the signing of the agreement between BPLD & Associados and Sérvulo & Associados, Paulo Linhares Dias recalled the similar matrix between the two firms due to their strong academic ties and congratulated everyone present. SÉRVULO's Managing Partner, Manuel Magalhães, expressed his satisfaction at the signing of the protocol and his confidence in the success of integrating BPLD & Associados into SÉRVULO LATITUDE⦵, stressing the importance of this project, which includes leading law firms in strategic Portuguese-speaking jurisdictions based on referencing and mutual respect between all the members, while aiming for the development and prestige of all the firms involved.
SÉRVULO's entourage included, besides the conference speakers José Manuel Sérvulo Correia, Rui Medeiros and Eduardo Gonçalves Rodrigues, and the Managing Partner, partners Sofia Carreiro, Mark Kirkby, João Saúde and Henrique Rodrigues da Silva, all of whom have professional or family connections to the archipelago.
