SÉRVULO joins consortium to create WENexus project to promote energy efficiency in the water sector in Portugal

Sérvulo & Associados, S317 Consulting and Engidro Engineering Solutions have formed a consortium to create the WENexus project, a project co-financed by the European Union through the LIFE program, which aims to promote energy efficiency in the water sector in Portugal.

The aim of WENexus is to develop solutions for increasing energy efficiency in the water sector by defining business models adapted to the different realities of water management entities.

Through this project, the consortium is available to provide free support to all water supply and/or wastewater management entities wishing to invest in improving the energy efficiency of their systems.

With a duration of 3 years, the project started in September 2023, and has a team from SÉRVULO made up of partners Ana Luísa Guimarães and João Amaral e Almeida, consultant Filipa Urbano Calvão and associate João Tomé Pilão.

SÉRVULO will be responsible for defining pre-contractual procedure models suited to the needs of water sector management entities. In addition to developing the most appropriate contractual model and risk matrix, in interaction with technical and financial inputs, it will also monitor the implementation of the chosen procedure.
