Rita Canas da Silva takes part in II European Congress on Employment Law

Rita Canas da Silva, associate and co-head of SÉRVULO's Employment department, will be one of the speakers on the II European Congress on Employment Law.

The congress, which is made up of seven sessions, will cover the most relevant current employment law themes within a European context, and will include contributions from national and international experts. Amongst other matters, the congress will analyse recent challenges facing employment law in other European countries and equality and non-discrimination issues in the workplace, the termination of employment contracts, short-term contracts and work scheduling.   

Rita Canas da Silva will take part in the fifth session dedicated to "Contractual vicissitudes, the termination of the work contract and short-term contracts: balance of the legislative changes of 2012 and operational difficulties".

The event takes place on December 2 and 3, at the Faculty of Law of the Nova University of Lisbon.
