Rita Canas da Silva: Lawyer of the Year in Equality Plan at the IBL Labour Awards 2024

Rita Canas da Silva, the partner in charge of SÉRVULO's Labour team, won the Lawyer of the Year award in the Equality Plan category at the Iberian Lawyer 2024 Labour Awards.

This award is a fair recognition of Rita Canas da Silva's unique experience in advising multiple organizations on the implementation of differentiating strategies in the areas of equality, diversity and inclusion.

In her legal practice, Rita Canas da Silva assists various organizations in designing restructuring plans, combining a high level of technical expertise in "classic" employment issues - contractual arrangements, remuneration structure, career plans, downsizing, collective bargaining and employment litigation - with specialised and innovative knowledge of currently unavoidable issues (equality, diversity and inclusion), as an important dimension of the social responsibility of organizations. 

In these awards, SÉRVULO had received nominations in 16 categories, being shortlisted for Law Firm of the Year in 8 categories, while Rita Canas da Silva also received 8 individual nominations for Lawyer of the Year. 

The ceremony took place on 29 February in Madrid.
