Pedro Fernández Sánchez was interviewed by the Portuguese online news platform Notícias a Minuto on the occasion of the launch of his new book on the subject of presidential powers in the context of the formation and maintenance of government ("Poderes Presidenciais Sobre a Formação e a Subsistência do Governo"), commenting on the most recent involvement of the Portuguese President, Aníbal Cavaco Silva, in the formation of government following the latest parliamentary elections in the country. In general, the book analyses, from a legal standpoint, the role the President has played in relation to the government in recent Portuguese history.

The book launch takes place today at 6:30pm at the Portuguese Bar Association in Lisbon.
