Paulo Câmara takes part in conference on Good Remuneration Practices

On January 25th the Portuguese Institute for Corporate Governance (IPCG - Instituto Português de Corporate Governance) holds a conference on the Good Remuneration Practices of Corporations, which will take place in the auditorium of the insurance company Seguros Lusitânia, in Lisbon.

Paulo Câmara, partner at SÉRVULO and specialist in Finance Law and Corporate Governance, will be a guest on the First Panel (see here for the full programme, in Portuguese) and will speak on the theme New Corporate Governance Rules and Recommendations for Remunerations.

Paula Câmara highlighted that “the remuneration of administrators is today the most important issue on the corporate governance regulatory agenda.” He also added that “there is a constant flood of legislation and recommendations related to this area, having repercussions on both financial and non-financial institutions, that everyone should give it due attention.”
