NEWS AND EVENTS 22 Oct 2019
The XI Governance Lab Collection book, Acionistas e Governação das Sociedades (Shareholders and Corporate Governance) will be released on 29 October. The launch will be supported by AEM - Association of Listed Security Issuers.
This new volume is dedicated to the growing debate on the position held by shareholders in corporate governance and takes a descriptive and critical approach to the various aspects of the issue. The book will be presented by Paulo Câmara, main coordinator and Managing Partner at Sérvulo & Associados.
In line with the launch, the Governance Lab will also host an innovative debate on the “Purpose of Law Firms”, a theme suggested by Business Roundtable, the renowned international organisation for CEOs. Ana Perestrelo de Oliveira (Lisbon Faculty of Law; Galp; Governance Lab), Céline Abecassis Moedas (Católica University Lisbon; CTT) and Helena Soares de Moura (Montepio) have been invited to discuss the theme at the AEM head office.
