New initiative brings Pro Bono day to Portugal

Pro Bono Day was held for the first time in Portugal. The event focused on good collaborative practices for lawyers (individual or corporate practice), non-profit organisations and law students.

The initiative is part of the 'European Pro Bono Week' and, this year, it took place in such cities as Paris, Madrid, Milan, Frankfurt, and Brussels. The event was attended by Abreu Advogados, CCSL, Cuatrecasas, FCB, Maria Pisani Burnay, Miranda, Morais Cardoso e Associados, Novartis, Nuno Cerejeira Namora e Pedro Marinho Falcão e Associados, Pedro Maria Simão, PLMJ, SÉRVULO, SRS and VDA. Luís Cortes Martins and professor and abritrator Dário Moura Vicente, both partners of SLCM, were also present.

The event was mentioned in the print edition of Jornal de Negócios and in Advogar.
