Miguel Santos Almeida arbitrated at the SAM - Sports Arbitration Moot

Miguel Santos Almeida, associate at the Litigation and Sports Law departments, participated as Arbitrator at the SAM - Sports Arbitration Moot 2022 in the oral rounds that pitted teams from the University of Montpellier and from Universidade Salvador (UNIFACS).

 

The Sports Arbitration Moot (SAM) aims to introducing sports arbitration to the next generation of arbitration practitioners. Any student enrolled in a law faculty in 2021 or 2022 can participate. It´s a challenge to practice advocacy skills in the field of sports. Mooties have the chance to plead before some of the best sports arbitration practitioners in the world. The SAM's Arbitrators come from over 30 countries.
