Mafalda Carmona publishes master’s thesis

NEWS AND EVENTS 04 Oct 2011

Mafalda Carmona, senior associate at SÉRVULO, recently published her master’s thesis “O Acto Administrativo Conformador de Relações de Vizinhança” (“The administrative act as parameter for neighbour relationships”), with leading Portuguese legal publisher Almedina.

The subject, which sits at the confluence between public and private law, deals with the legal protection of private property in the face of authorising administrative acts and shines a light on problems like the protection of third parties or the multi-polarity of legal relationships, the close-knitedness of illegality, the efficacy of fundamental rights between private individuals, or the general theory of the effects of the administrative act.
