João Amaral e Almeida takes part in seminar organised by Court of Auditors of Angola

Between April 7 and 10 the National Seminar on the Supervision of Public Procurement, Procedures and Legislation, will take place in Luanda. The event is organised by the Court of Auditors of Angola, and it will include an intervention by SÉRVULO partner João Amaral e Almeida on the legal regime of Angolan public procurement. This seminar, which has training purposes, is aimed at the upper echelons of the Angolan public administration, including regional and municipal governments.

The event has national scope and it celebrates the 14th anniversary of the Court of Auditors of Angola. It will include specialist interventions from officials of the Court of Auditors, of the Secretariat of Public Procurement of the Civil Office of the Presidency, and of the Office for Public Procurement of the Ministries for Finance and for Planning. Some of the themes discussed will include prior control of procurement procedures and instructive aspects of contracts, the role of the Office for Public Procurement of the Ministries for Finance and for Planning as observatory of the public procurement market, and types of pre-contractual procedures and the choice of procedures: the value of the contract and material criteria.
