João Amaral e Almeida and Pedro Fernández Sánchez launch the book “Temas de Contratação Pública”

The book “Temas de Contratação Pública” (“Public Procurement Issues”) will be published in the last week of July by Coimbra Editoria. The work is the result of the daily experiences lived by its authors, João Amaral e Almeida and Pedro Fernández Sanchez, respectively partner and Of Counsel at SÉRVULO, in terms of various public procurement issues, given that both are lawyers specialised in this area.

The book seeks to find answers to some of the most important and currently discussed issues raised by the public procurement regime, including those relating to its application to private entities, to contracts done in-house, to constraints to the adoption of the private treaty, to the choice of adjudication criteria or to the model of evaluation of proposals.

Marking three years since the implementation of the Public Contracts Code, this work will certainly make an important contribution to better understanding and applying the new public contracts regime, a subject which remains undisputedly pertinent today.
