Francisco Barona was speaker at the 38ª Conferência da IBA International Financial Law, that took place in Lisbon. The partner of SÉRVULO's Finance department was part of the session: Cutting the apron strings: the start-up’s journey from VC financing to IPO. 

Were discussed key exit strategy considerations for start-ups and venture capital funds and the pros (and cons) on the IPO route, including enhanced liquidity for investors, access to capital, maintenance of control and employee equity incentives, but also exposure to market volatility and regulatory burdens.
