Employment Department publishes article on collective dismissals

The latest edition of the Newsletter of Legalink, the selective international network of law firms, includes an article on collective dismissals by Rita Canas da Silva, associate in the Employment Law department of SÉRVULO. The article analyses the recent decision of the European Court of Justice, of May 13, 2015, which deals with the concept of “establishment” for the purposes of qualifying a dismissal as a collective one, according to the meaning of Directive 98/59/CE of the Council, of July 20, 1998, and the impact of this decision on Portuguese law.
