Mark Kirkby comments on the decision of the Portuguese Constitutional Court, which dismissed the appeal of José Macário Correia, mayor of Faro, to the Supreme Administrative Court’s decision of June 2012 to dismiss him from office for violation of urbanism and urban planning legislation when Mr. Macário Correia was mayor of Tavira.
