The cross-fertilization of the Energy Union and the Digital Single Market

Alberto Saavedra published an article in the Energy Journal, in an issue dedicated to the topic of energy transition in a context of digital transformation.

The article is entitled “The cross-fertilization of the Energy Union and the Digital Single Market” and aims at explaining the different dimensions of integration of smart digital technologies in the various areas of the energy system. The topics encompass the Energy Union and the Digital Single Market, including the new developments brought by the European Green Deal Investment Plan and the Just Transition Mechanism within the framework of the EU Recovery Package to tackle the economic and social impact of the Covid-19 pandemic.

The Energy Journal is available online, totally free, in E-Book format. The Energy Journal is a multidisciplinary scientific journal, specialized in the field of Energy, being edited by “ISPG - Instituto do Petróleo e Gás - Association for Research and Advanced Training”.
