With the new year approaching we prepared a special edition of the Momentum Newsletter dedicated to the areas of Fin & Tech which, nowadays, are already inseparable realities.

In this edition, SÉRVULO’s Fintech team analyses the most pressing legal issues of this sector expected to take over 2021. Starting with the annual outlook of the European Fintech market, proposed by Paulo Câmara, followed by a call to action directed to the Portuguese securities and exchange regulator concerning the use of blockchain technology in the capital markets, in the view of Catarina Saramago, the newsletter also includes an analysis of services concerning cryptoassets, by Andreea Babicean, the assessment of the importance of preventing money laundering with regard to cryptoassets, highlighted by Miguel Santos Almeida and the new reality of Insurtech, explained by Inês Palma Ramalho. Finally, the last article, by Michael-Sean Boniface points out the changes to payment services expected to occur in the post-Brexit period.
