Lease agreements - the extension of the moratorium

Law no. 45/2020, of 20 August, was recently published, proceeding to the second amendment of Law no. 4-C / 2020, of 6 April, which approved the exceptional regime for the late payment of rent within housing and commercial lease agreements (and similar contracts), in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. 

The diploma under analysis made some important changes regarding the terms and periods for regularization of the deferred rents, within commercial lease agreements and similar contracts for the onerous exploitation of properties. Read more in the Portuguese version.
